The history of Neemrana Fort Palace dates back to 1464 A.D., when the palace was constructed. In 1947, Raja Rajinder Singh of Neemrana moved down to Vijay Bagh as the façade of his Fort-Palace crumbled and its ramparts began to give way.
Finally, in 1986, this extra-ordinary fort-palace underwent restoration and reconstruction and was transformed into a hotel. In 1991 Neemrana Fort-Palace opened its doors with the nobility of its façade raised.
In 2000 Neemrana won the Intach-Satte award for restoration & tourism.
